Ireja Lauderdale set the fastest time in the 100 meters as she led a host of Pasadena City College women's track and field competitiors at the Southern California Prelims meet held May 2 at Bakersfield College's Memorial Stadium.
Behind two jump champions, the Pasadena City College women's track and field team scored 66.5 points, the most in 13 years, and placed fourth at the South Coast Conference Prelims/Championships held April 21 and on Saturday (April 25) at El Camino College.
Kezia Gavlak became the first Pasadena City College women's conference champion in the triple jump in 19 years during action at the South Coast Conference Prelims meet held Tuesday at El Camino College.
